New Millennial Gay Experience

About Me

Nice to meet you, my name is Andy. I live in Wisconsin, in a smaller city. I don't know why, I hate cold weather.

I am a late-50s guy who repairs electronics and computers for a living. Have been doing so for many years.

History in general, as well as Broadcasting History

Music: Likes: Rock of the last 20 years in particular, Mainstream  and modern Jazz, Odd stuff.

Electronics: Building audio stuff. Computers. Electromechanical stuff fascinates me.

Bicycling: do a lot of that to keep me semi-sane and reasonably fit.

My friends tell me that I'm a early-30s guy in a late-50s body. They might be right.

I also write for the site from time to time and enjoy it.

Got home from work an hour ago and just checked my mail. Did you get your meat today? That post of yours to Cathy will live with me forever. Hugs matey.

Hey Andy! Good to hear from you :-) Sorry I'm slow to reply - not much time to do anything during my work week :-/ Well, at least now it's my weekend, & as usual I've no plans, so call if you can --- I just left you a note on Skype & realized it's been almost a month since we talked! Time does fly ...

Later (hopefully)! XO

The_Fixer said, " I've been busier than a one-armed paperhanger." Matey, if you're flexible enough try it with both feet, you don't necessarily need two arms! What a solo porno j/o that would be! You'd be able to retire right now matey on the proceeds. You wouldn't need ready glued wall paper either. I can see the ad now. "Andy's self glueing speckled wallpaper - ready for new comers to the art of decorating walls and ceilings".

Andy. I swim like a fish. Why? I am chronic asthmatic, like serious bad time. I love to swim but my love of being a fish has only developed cos of the lung exercise benefits. I swim five days a week, doing laps in the council pool - I have to but that said enjoy it (I love the eye candy and enjoy the 'after swim' shower with the guys who have no idea I'm a poof unless I suddenly get hard). Sadly only once in the last year has the shower stuffy got me a very risky unsafe fuck?.. but I still live in hope of more to come so to speak. The holiday was great but between now and the end of January it is six days a week and a few hours on Sundays. This is the period when I make 60% of my annual budget income. Today was a public holiday and from tomorrow it will be as always, 12/15 hour days but I recently put on a man Friday and hope it will ease some of the stress. Yes, for me "50" is achievable particularly as me and Tommy have started a new business venture, I'll gmail you.

Tommy is in the middle of exams at the moment and has the worst black eye I've ever seen, slipped coming out of the rough and fell on his golf buggy. It is ugly. He's had it checked out and he's OK but he's a bit of a fkn woos so I, "You can't feel the pain Pete" shit is running high and often.

Sunday night he made his usual move on me and I put my hands in the air and said, "No, you're in such pain, it'll only make it worse". He took me seriously and really cracked the shits. I nearly pissed myself matey. He's gone from close to death's door in agonising pain to wanting to lube me in less than 60 seconds and I pushed his hand away. Andy, his face!!!! I'm a slut and so let him have his way with me but after the clock chimed I did get the giggles with the wet farts. Happy week to you matey.

Bye. xxxx

Sorry for the delayed response Andy. I have been away for three weeks in tropical Queensland. The first week solo and the next two with Tommy; pure bliss. The first week I did nothing else than swim in the Pacific Ocean and play golf. When Tommy arrived we did a few day trips, a river cruise and just enjoyed being so much in love.
Today is my first back in the office. The crew said it was very quiet without me, which I thought sick, cos I did not miss them for one minute. I did have an hour on the phone sorting out an issue with one of my guys which pissed me off quite a bit. The holiday has strengthened my decision to retire when I'm 50. Although my birthday was late September, we celebrated in style in Queensland, Tommy kept my pressie until we were on hols, it was a gorgeous ring. I teared up when he slipped it on my finger, gold with a black sapphire. He spoils me heaps. Just adore the man. Hope you are healthy and happy mate. The answer to your question is an emphatic Yes, I take very good care of his needs; it's fair to say I'm his juicer.

Hey, Andy! As if my first day back at the job after two weeks wasn't complicated enough, Gary got a marriage license and we're going to get legally married big deal, but looks like people we know will show up at city hall just to enjoy the moment...the kids are weirdly excited about it, although they were both there at our civil union ceremony...Looks like I'll have to get used to the word "husband" after all.

Hey, Andy! I keep stopping by to see what's up. I like what I'm reading here, and hope I can contribute now and then when my mind is settled enough to focus and I have time enough to actually write something worthy. I'm sending this from Tel Aviv, which is kind of a trip. Lots of cute gay men in Israel, or at least this part of it. Had dinner with an adorable sort-of transgender artist last night ... very he was intrigued to meet such an integrated homo-geezer from the USA. Hope you're well up in chilly WI!

Hey Andy! Good to hear from you :-) I'd love to have a good catch-up chat --- I don't plan on going anywhere tomorrow, or Friday, so hopefully you'll find some time to call. If I don't hear from you this week, Happy Canadian Thanksgiving! It's on Monday :-) Talk soon! XO

It's been a shockingly long time since I've been here ... !! How are you Andy? I'm planning on getting caught up with all the articles I haven't read here (starting with Commentary - really enjoyed your Pleasantville piece!) as it's now my "weekend" :-) I was excited to see new writers/members, but thought you might want to know that there are less members than promised --- 20, not 22, as 2 are repeated at the end :-/

D'Arcy left on Tuesday for Paris --- I saw him off at the train station as he made his way to Montreal to fly out that night :-) He was VERY excited, letting out odd little "whoops" while in the shower ... ! Ha ha!! We'll be keeping in touch via Facebook (he finally accepted my friend request!). He landed safely --- that's all I've heard! You should search him, & check out his tree-planters beard --- he's using the picture I took before he shaved it off, for his FB profile pic (or I can e-mail you the pic).

Hopefully we can chat soon --- my hours are changing, but I always have Thurs./Fri. off. Later! XO

Andy, I know embarrassingly little about gay history. I could go out and research it for myself, but it is so much more fun to wait for you to tell me all about it! If you lived closer you could come over and tell me bedtime stories with a nice hot cocoa! :-)

Andy, thank you for the up vote! I was a little shocked to have taken some limited backlash on that comment. I sort of thought I was stating the obvious. Maybe the other commenter is the Jenner boy??? :-)

Gosh, Andy - I forget to check here for messages...but my 58th birthday week passed more or less is such an overload these days that I have no energy for online writing...plenty for reading...

Well, I see the clickable link worked. I just copied and pasted. I'm using Safari on an iMac. It does seem that different browsers work differently. I know when I post articles the posting process acts differently if I'm using Safari or if I'm using Firefox. I seem to recall the FAQ section mentioned something about that. As best I understand it there's really nothing we can do about that.

OK, I'm trying this out to put in a clickable link.

Your comments with answers/comments inserted. I hope it's clear which is which.

Hey, Hue-Man. Found your comment below to be both interesting and informative, I'm sorry that it did not appear on the site the way it was supposed to. I am wondering if you have tried to comment since then?

Yes, I have. It seems to me the problem is putting in clickable URLs. I posted an entry on the weekend putting in spaces instead of periods, e.g. www thefixer com. My own personal view is that the links to longer discussions are useful - if you're not interested, you don't have to click. If you are, they often lead to other related discussion points. Sometimes, you need to read a 50 page .pdf file to understand the complexities. I've taken to composing in or saving a copy to a text file since the messages started disappearing.

Of course, my rule is "Website owners are in charge." If you want to ban the letter Q or the use of capital letters, that's completely your choice. The subsidiary rule of course is "I have a choice of which websites I visit." (!)

I'd also suggest that you clear your browser's cache in addition to the cookies that you've already cleared, There were a couple of days that I had some odd things happen to me on the site, and it is possible that those malfunctions contaminated the browser cache.

I also cleared browser cache. So far it looks like a corrupt cookie problem.

I'm not sure if Dennis has contacted the site support people, but I'd be interested in knowing what other problems you may have had lately. We want to give them any information that might prove helpful. If you could, let me know what browser you are using, along with the version number (usually found when going to the Help/About function) and what operating system you're using (Windows XP, 7, Mac or Linux Distribution). This may help them nail any problems down.

Windows XP, Firefox 22 (I turned off pop-up blockers and ghostery, etc.) At the worst, MS Explorer 8 wasn't working here either. I've not had any problems on any other site.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you and hope we can resolve this quickly. Either leave me a comment on my profile page or send me a PM. If that doesn't work, send me an E-Mail message (the_fixer_andy at

Ha ha!! Funny headline ;-) Have fun at the club tonight (or, if you went last night, hope it was fun?)! It was good talking last weekend :-) I'm trying to catch up on reading, so you'll probably see some links from me! (No probably about it - you will!) Our weather has remained cool (especially overnight & into the morning - beautiful mid-20s in the afternoons), & it doesn't look like it'll change this next week --- soooo nice not to be sweaty all the time! Later! XO
