Well, looks like Friday did not work out for me to give you a call. Hope for next Friday. It's been all topsy-turvy for me lately, but do manage to get the club on the weekends. The rest of the time, it's been helping other people with their stuff. Anyway, hope the rest of your week goes well and hope to chat Friday. Take care!

Hey Cathy! We're overdue for a chat, will have to see how this week goes. It's been pretty wild with my friend Adam, he's moving and guess who got enlisted to help him move? If you guessed me, you guessed right. I also seem to have become a de facto counselor for some of my friends as of late. I'll tell ya all about it when we talk. Hope everything's going along well, and D is OK.

Andy's just sooooo honest Cathy. He says, "?.before I have to get the meat of my day". OMG, sounds like he often goes trawling for a blow job during the day. i know we poofs get much more than the str8 guys but The Fixer has just raised the bar at least another notch. Here, I've been sitting down under all this time thinking he was a shy retiring sort of guy. Gotta to admire the guy now by another 200% ffs. How are you going mate?

OK, I'll be looking for you in the late morning Thursday, if all goes well. That way we can talk before I have to get to the meat of my day. Hope to chat then!

Hey Cathy, long time, no talk. Was thinking about you and we should really find some time to talk. I know you said Thursdays and Fridays are your weekend, if I am remembering that right. I'll try to get some time to look for you on one of those days very soon. Hope the world is treating you OK.

Hey Cathy! Good to hear that D made it safely to Paris. Hope he has a great time over there. I'll keep your schedule in mind. Not sure if I'll be able to talk tomorrow, will see. Hope every other little thing is going OK. Hope to talk soon, take care.

Cathy- I've been awful about writing to you. I'm back on my feet and have started to tutor again. The doc gave me permission to gradually resume regular activities-just no sex. I laughed and said the only male I associated with regularly was a 14 lb neutered cat!. Speaking of the dear boy, I have to change his litter box. Just wanted to let you know I'm still nosing around.

Hi Cathy. Just locked the main door and switched the front lights off. To shut up shop on a Friday gives me a warm and glowing feeling in me loins matey, two days without client hassles and just time for me and Tommy.
I've never closed the back door to mates, they're welcome to drop by anytime but think I've trained them now to text or call before they land in the kitchen. Summer will tell. Tommy had a late one this afternoon (lecture) and is swinging by soon- going clubbing tonight (so he bloody thinks!). I just want to curl up on the couch and watch the footy my head on his lap. Not my team but it'll be a great match. Think I'm becoming domesticated Cathy. My man Friday! Why did it take so long? Life is so less complicated; haven't had a "Pete's poofy moment" all week. Getting a new tattoo tomorrow, right side under arm to finish off that whole side. It's the worst place in terms of pain but worth it. Tommy will shave the arm pit tonight, scared I might cut it! Have you met D's possible future mother in law yet? I employ an older lady (60) and she calls her son's wives "Dils", (daughter-in-laws). Maybe better I call her a "senior member of staff" so Uly doesn't get upset. Mr "Hotness himself" has just walked in and reckons it's a quiet night home, says he fkd. That has to be one of Uly's miracles Cathy. He's gone off to the pisser so I'll close off and get the bucket and mop to clean up his splashes. Just joking. Have a great weekend matey. Pet xxxoo

Cathy - Thanks for the link to the trans article. Very interesting. The sentence of 3 years and a lifetime of registering as a sex offender for a teenager is grotesque. I'm glad the piece mentioned that there are different views in the trans community about disclosure to partners. I'm always nervous when a community is portrayed as thinking the same way about anything. I might think differently if I were trans myself, but I think I'd want to disclose my status up front. Who wants a partner who would dislike you if the truth about you were known? But making it a law would be a very bad idea.

Hey, Cathy. Yes, I did get some reading links from you :) Only had time to read the short one, will look at the rest later. Plan on going to the club tonight, we'll see what happens there. And I am actually going to talk to my favourite bartender (who is one of the owners of the place) about Russian Vodka and see if they will join the boycott. It looks like Dan Savage has started something, several high-profile gay bars in various cities have joined the boycott. Looks like Stolichnaya will have a drop in sales. Anyway, we're only up to about 15 today, got a cold snap going on here. I am not liking this. I don't like to sweat either, but this is kind of ridiculous for July. Anyway, off to the mall and then to check on a friend. Talk to ya later!

Though I see that my profile picture cuts off the top and bottom everywhere except on my own page. I'll have to see if I can make that more square so it doesn't do that. I'm kind of a dunce with photos on the computer. I have a heck of a time getting sizes right for the pictures I add to the stories.

There were about 4500 people at the Fireworks and Fountains show, I think they said.
We've had a spell where we've had rainstorms almost every day for the past three weeks or so. Some of them have been thunderstorms. It's been in the eighties Fahrenheit -- Andy could tell you what that is in Celsius -- and it's supposed to be in the nineties again. It's been humid, too, so it feels hotter.
I've been pretty good. Things have been quiet, but I've gotten a good bit of editing done in the past couple of weeks. We went to New York state to an aunt and uncle's thirtieth wedding anniversary, and it was nice to see a bunch of relatives. This was my dad's brother, and their sisters came, too.
Mom had cataract surgery, and can't see well enough to drive. Her second surgery was about a month ago, and it's another couple weeks until she can get a new glasses prescription. Meanwhile, Dad and I are driving her places. Not that I wouldn't go to the grocery store regularly anyway, but we've been doing a lot of food shopping. I've managed to read a few books, but mostly I'm online. I saw my garden club friend again this week. She wants to go to Philadelphia Orchestra concerts, but I'm not much for classical music. She was a music teacher for many years. Well, we talk flowers, anyway.
I hope you are doing well.

Hey, Cathy. How are you doing? A garden club friend and I went to Longwood Gardens (www.longwoodgardens.org) to see fireworks and fountains with colored lights. We couldn't see the fountains too well from where we were sitting, though I'd seen them many times before. We had a good view of the fireworks, though.

Hi Cathy - Thanks for the tip on the John Horne Burns article. I'd never heard of the guy before, but he was obviously a stunning writer. And a perceptive observer of the human condition. A total shame he descended into self destruction and died at 36.

Happy Canada Day!

The weather has been somewhat stormy here, but nothing compared to the really hard hit areas. We have managed to be on the outer edges of just about every truly violent system that has gone through. I'm afraid that I didn't get to participate in any Pride events this year.

Well, good to see that he called, no matter what the reason. So, he opened up about the GF, huh? Well, I'll be interested to hear about it. Perhaps we can talk again this weekend. In the meantime, enjoy the week.

Hey Cathy, thanks for the heads-up about the missing image. I let Dennis know about it. Not sure about what time I'll be around on Skype, been taking care of someone's cats while they are out of town and not sure when I'll be doing that. And I'll be going out tonight to celebrate the end of a busy week, so don't know how late I'll sleep. But we'll get together at some point. Hope the rest of the day goes well for you.

Hi, Cathy! We live on a little hill, so we don't have to worry about flooding. We've had a lot of thunderstorms lately. I made it to see the Philadelphia Pride Parade and go to the Pride Fest. That was early in June. I hope you are doing well. :) Em
